Project 365 Day 90

Do I really need to write a description?
I saw this bumper sticker today and had to make it my Project 3.6.5. picture.

Project 365 Day 89

I did it!!! 30 Yoga classes in 30 days at Yyoga.
I didn't think I could do it, but tonight I finished my 30th practice and I feel amazing. Today's Project 3.6.5. Picture is of the sticker board used to keep track of everyone's classes.

Project 365 Day 88

Tonight's Project 3.6.5. picture was taken in Gastown on the walk home after Team Scarecrow was beaten for the first time ever at Trivia. Yes, you read that correctly. We lost. Well, we actually came in 3rd, but it's the first time we weren't number one, so we weren't happy. The cold rain seemed to fit the mood during the walk.

At least the Canucks clinched the Western Conference tonight.

Project 365 Day 86

Today's Project 3.6.5. Picture is of Buddha watching over the tables at Section (3). I was back again tonight for dinner.
It was no Subway, but is was still very tasty.

Twins

Have you ever met someone that had the same birthday as you? Right down to the same year? You probably do all the time, but you just don't know it. Last night at Section (3), I met someone that had the exact same birthday as me! Greg (Craig?) on the left and I could be twins separated at birth. Other than the fact that we were born in different cities. I think that's kind of cool.

Bon Jovi rocked Rogers Arena tonight. This Project 3.6.5. picture was taken just before the concert started. There were a few more bottles as the night went on.

Project 365 Day 82

Closing Time....
You know it's a good evening when you polish off two bottles of wine and the staff at the restaurant, (Nuba) start stacking the chairs on the tables. Yes, we closed the place down.
Worth it though.

Project 365 Day 81

Wow!! Team Scarecrow is now 3 - 0!! We won at trivia once again tonight, even though our team was a little bit smaller.
I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed if we ever end up losing... I guess I just won't let that happen!

WINNING!

Project 365 Day 79

I went up to my deck today to check on my plants that have been hibernating all winter.
Today's Project 3.6.5. Picture is of my hydrangea bush. Last year's flowers are old and dried up, the new leaves are just starting to poke through. Spring is here!

Project 365 Day 77

I stopped by an office at 825 Granville Street today. It's a building I've never been to before and I was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful it was inside. This Project 3.6.5. picture really doesn't do it justice, but the elevator just took my breath away.
If you ever get the chance, stop in just to take a look. You won't be disappointed.

Hope you had a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Project 365 Day 72

My good friend Robin is in Japan right now covering the earthquake and tsunami disaster for Global National. I worry for her just as I worry for all of the Japanese people.
As I was watching her report on TV this evening, I was looking at some pictures of the devastation on my computer.
I decided to make it my it my Project 3.6.5. Picture.

Please go to the Red Cross site and donate to their Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami appeal.

Project 365 Day 71

My heart does go out to Japan. Please send all of your positive thoughts to the people there, and donate any amount you are able.
But after watching way too much CNN about the tragedy of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan over the past two days, these two monkeys offered a temporary reprieve from the heartache.

I was lucky enough to spend this evening with my nephews. What this Project 3.6.5. Picture does not show is that they have squeezed themselves into one basket. Very cute.

Project 365 Day 70

Today I attended my second funeral in two weeks. They don't get any easier, but they definitely remind you of how precious life is.
After the service, we headed to Nuba for a bite to eat.
Today's Project 3.6.5. Picture is of the most delicious fresh fruit juice drinks we used to toast our friend, Gaetano.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...
Not sure what happened here: was it the wind? Was it some drunken hooligans?
Regardless, it is today's Project 3.6.5. Picture.

Slight (temporary) change in the line-up this evening, but Team Scarecrow was number One again at trivia night at the New Oxford.
We are now 2-0, and plan on defending our winning streak next week!
That's right...I said WINNING!!

Today's Project 3.6.5. Picture is of a First Nations artist doing wood carvings on Robson Street. He is there almost every day and sells his carvings "By Donation".
Feel free to stop by and watch him carve and pick up some authentic Canadian goods.

Project 365 Day 65

I went for a walk today and ended up at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The building is amazing and there are so many photo opportunities there. I especially liked the huge globe hanging in the lobby. This Project 3.6.5. Picture really doesn't show its true size; it's massive.
Go check it out for yourself!

BTW: 65 Pictures down... 300 to go!!!

Project 365 Day 64

Interesting that my Project 3.6.5. Day 64 picture is on the day of my Mom's 64th Birthday Dinner, (never mind that her actual birthday isn't until Wednesday).
Here she is at dinner tonight enjoying a birthday margarita. Cheers!

When I get older losing my hair,
Many years from now,
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings bottle of wine?

If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door,
Will you still need me, will you still feed me,
When I'm sixty-four?

Project 365 Day 62

So I walk by this place on Hornby Street almost every day. I think it's a barber shop... maybe I should really go and inspect it more closely.
For today, I will just let it be today's Project 3.6.5. Picture.

And I was doing so well too...
Well, I didn't totally mess up; I did take the picture yesterday, but due to some computer issues, I couldn't post it until this morning.
Today's, (well... yesterday's) Project3.6.5. Picture is a sign board advertising $3 Tequila shots. Some might call that trouble. I might call that fun. Enjoy!
