Project 365 Day 88

Tonight's Project 3.6.5. picture was taken in Gastown on the walk home after Team Scarecrow was beaten for the first time ever at Trivia. Yes, you read that correctly. We lost. Well, we actually came in 3rd, but it's the first time we weren't number one, so we weren't happy. The cold rain seemed to fit the mood during the walk.

At least the Canucks clinched the Western Conference tonight.

Project 365 Day 81

Wow!! Team Scarecrow is now 3 - 0!! We won at trivia once again tonight, even though our team was a little bit smaller.
I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed if we ever end up losing... I guess I just won't let that happen!

WINNING!

Oh... and it's my sister's birthday today, so I thought I'd post an old-school pic of us:

Project 365 Day 67

Slight (temporary) change in the line-up this evening, but Team Scarecrow was number One again at trivia night at the New Oxford.
We are now 2-0, and plan on defending our winning streak next week!
That's right...I said WINNING!!

Project 365 Day 53

Sometimes I get teased because I accumulate a lot of useless knowledge. Tonight wasn't one of these times.
To be honest, I don't think it was my useless knowledge that led our team, The Scarecrows, to victory; my teammates were all very impressive.
Regardless, we were the Grand Champions tonight at the New Oxford Trivia Night!
Questions ranged from recognizing famous figures in pictures to name that tune, to pop culture to current events. You are not allowed to use your phone to search the internet to find out who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1990, (Gorbachev), or what the deepest Lake in Scotland is, (Loch Morar), and although we got those two questions wrong, we still beat out at least 20 other teams. Also noteworthy is that the team that came in second place had about 14 members while we only had 5!
Yeah Team! We are SMRT!
