So it's my Mother's birthday today. 65!!

She's off gallivanting in the sun and surf of Mexico, so for the first time in my life, I won't actually get to hear her voice today.

That's kind of sad... but I'm sure she's not missing us in the pouring rainy Vancouver.

Three years ago I received the phone call from my brother-in-law: "Tomarra, it's time; Babies are coming tonight!"

Three years later, the boys were super excited to be celebrating their birthday with friends and family.

A lot of my friends have turned 40 this year. Tonight I celebrated with my friend Robin. Robin and I met 27 years ago in the 8th grade; we have travelled together, (China, Montreal, Chilliwack), been neighbours, (in Toronto), and shared all kinds of girly secrets.
